自閉スペクトラム症児を対象とした。嗅覚特性を嗅覚過敏、嗅覚刺激への低反応、嗅覚への探求と分類した際に嗅覚過敏の強い群がヒトと比べて対ロボットに対する行動が前向きである可能性が示唆された。参加者へのインタヴューから嗅覚過敏の中でも体臭への過敏が強いことが、ヒトでなくロボットとなら前向きに行動できることにつながっている可能性が示唆された。
Children with autism spectrum disorders participated in this study. We classified participants of autistic trait to three groups as follows. Olfactory sensitivity, Low reaction to olfactory stimuli, and Olfactory seeking. Olfactory sensitivity group are suggested to perform better to robot than human. From an interview report, sensitivity to body odour predict affinitiy to robot.
