Note (General): 我国の重要な水産資源であるシロザケ・サクラマス・ベニザケ(ヒメマス)は、生まれた川(母川)を降河する時に、母川固有の溶存遊離アミノ酸(DFAA)組成を母川水のニオイ成分として記憶し、数年後に成熟した時に、嗅覚によりDAFF組成を識別して高い確率で母川を選択したが、カラフトマスは選択しなかった。また、DFAAは主に河床の付着微生物の集合体であるバイオフィルムが産生し、流域・季節・年変動の少ないDFAA組成が存在した。
