実験は、雪氷防災研究センター新庄雪氷環境実験所および電気通信大学菅平宇宙電波観測所等の施設を利用して行った。本研究では、水、雪粒子、空気の誘電率の違いを利用し、スキーなどの滑走体と雪面が接触する場合の真実接触面積を櫛型電極により評価する新しい方法を開発した。静摩擦係数と真実接触面積の関係についてもまとめ、ほぼ直線関係になることを示した。また、連続摺動実験により融解水の発生時に摩擦力が増加することなどを示した。
The experiments of this study have been conducted at Shinjo cryospheric environment laboratory, Sugadaira space radio observatory, and so on. In this study new evaluating method of real contact area has been experimentally developed by using different dielectric properties of water, snow particle, and air. The relationship between the static friction coefficient and the real contact area was shown to be roughly proportional in our experiment. And it has been found that melted water increased friction force by continuous sliding test of a doughnut-shape plate on snow surface.
