AtNFXL1タンパク質はZn fingerドメイン上で切断され、N80とC62のタンパク質としてそれぞれ核と細胞質で機能することを明らかにした。さらに、AtNFXL1タンパク質はムギ類赤かび病菌に対して負の制御因子として機能し、その抵抗性にはAtNFXL1の全てのドメインが重要な役割を果たす事を明らかにした。そして、AtNFXL1タンパク質のN80は転写因子として、C62はMAKKKと直接相互作用し、MAPキナーゼシグナル伝達経路を制御する可能性が示唆された。
AtNFXL1 protein is digested on Zn finger domain, and acts as two proteins of N80 and C62 in nuclear and cytosol, respectively. Furthermore, AtNFXL1 proteins acts as negative regulator, all of domains on AtNFXL1 protein plays important role to resistance of Fusarium species. N80 of AtNFXL1 protein acts as transcription factor. On the other hand, C62 is interact with MAPKKK, and regulate novel MAP kinase cascade.
