放射性ストロンチウム (Sr-89,Sr-90) は、福島第一原子力発電所事故において、汚染水に含まれたものが発電所港湾に漏洩し、海洋へ放出が続いている。本研究では、放射性ストロンチウムの迅速分析法の開発を目的とし、化学分離法と測定法について検討した。その結果、海水に適用できないとされてきた固相抽出ディスクの適用が可能となり、化学分離の時間を3.5時間に短縮することができた。また、液体シンチレーション測定において抽出シンチレーターの使用によりSr-89＋Sr-90の直接測定を可能とし、迅速性と定量性を改善した。これにより、測定を含めた分析時間を1ヶ月から一日程度に短縮することができた。
Radiostrontium (Sr-89,Sr-90) in the waste water has been continuously released to the ocean from the port of Fukushima daiichi NPP after nuclear accident. A new method for the determination of radiostrontium in seawater samples has been developed for rapid monitoring of seawater. The concentration and purification steps of Sr, in combination with Sr Rad Disk which was not supposed to be applicable to seawater, allow seawater sample aliquot up to 1 L to be analyzed in 3.5 hours.The total Sr-89+Sr-90 activity is determined by liquid scintillation counting with extraction scintillator. The method is successful to reduce the analytical time including measurments from a month to a day.
