本研究では, リハビリテーション, フィットネス等において姿勢変化に関する定量的データを提供可能なシステムの開発とその評価を実施した。具体的には, 本システムは角度センサ・無線モジュール・メモリ・バッテリー等を内蔵したユニットを体幹・大腿・下腿にそれぞれ装着し計測を行うものであり, 片麻痺患者や高齢者を対象とした計測結果より, 病院等施設における歩行訓練中, さらには日常生活において, 詳細に姿勢変化や歩行速度の特徴を解析可能であり, 活動性や訓練効果の定量評価に非常に有用であることが確認された。
