ニュートリノは微小な質量を持っているが、標準模型の枠内では質量を持つことができず、拡張模型を考える必要がある。ニュートリノに質量を持たせる機構の一つとしてシーソー機構が知られているが、特に、ニュートリノ質量を輻射補正によって生成する輻射シーソー模型では、標準模型に含まれるヒッグス場の他に新たなスカラー場が導入されることが多い。本研究では、２つのSU(2)シングレットスカラー場と３世代の右巻きニュートリノを含む輻射シーソー模型について研究を行った。模型には２つのZ_2離散対称性が課されており、それにより新粒子のうち最低２つの中性粒子が暗黒物質候補となりうる。ここでは特に、実スカラー粒子と複素スカラー粒子、最も軽い右巻きニュートリノの３種類の粒子が暗黒物質となる場合について議論した。ヒッグス粒子を介して標準模型粒子に対消滅をするスカラー暗黒物質については、近年の直接探索実験により、質量や相互作用の大きさにますます厳しい制限が課せられている。本研究では、こうした暗黒物質の実験やレプトンフレーバーの破れを探る実験などに矛盾せずに、暗黒物質の残存量やニュートリノ質量が説明できる可能性があることを示した。さらに、暗黒物質の将来の直接探索実験による検証可能性や、太陽に捕獲された暗黒物質の対消滅から生成されるニュートリノの検出可能性などについても議論を行った。その結果、複素スカラー暗黒物質については、将来の直接探索実験で検出される可能性があることなどが示された。
