Note (General): 金沢大学理工研究域数物科学系
金沢大学で独自に開発する超小型衛星に広視野Ｘ線撮像検出器を搭載し、重力波イベントと同期したＸ線突発天体の発見を目指している。本研究では、多チャンネルの検出器からの電荷信号を読み出すための、専用のアナログ集積回路（ASIC）の開発を行った。本研究で開発したASICは世界的に見ても増幅率が極めて高いものであるが、目標性能である約1keVのＸ線が生成する電荷信号に相当する入力に対して、十分な感度があることを実証できた。さらに、前年度に開発したシリコンストリップ検出器をASICに連結しＸ線信号の読み出しを行った。検出器が幾分大きいものであるために、静電容量性のノイズが卓越し、エネルギーしきい値としては 2keV 相当までしか確認できていないが、今後は検出器の最適化を行うことで目標性能の実現を目指したいと考えている。また、前方にタングステンで作成した符号化マスクを配置することで、Ｘ線の撮像検出実証を行った。±45の広視野でのＸ線源の撮像を実証し、入射角の変化に対して取得される画像が定量的に変化することを確認できている。今後は低エネルギーのＸ線源に対する撮像実証を行うことを目的としている。今年度までに予定していたシリコンストリップ半導体検出器の開発と、読み出しASICの開発、およびそれらを連結した撮像実験の全てを実施することができており、衛星に搭載する検出器部の基盤技術は確立できたと言える。
