本研究の目的は、バルト三国等との比較を念頭におきつつ、ベラルーシの首都ミンスクにおけるホロコーストの特徴を明らかにすることであった。研究の結果、ベラルーシでは、特に社会主義教育を受けた新世代の間で、非ユダヤ人とユダヤ人の間に社会主義的連帯意識の育成が見られること、この連帯意識のもと、ホロコースト期のミンスクでは、コミュニストによる対ナチ抵抗運動が、限界を伴いながらもゲットーのユダヤ人の救出に一程度の役割をはたしたことが明らかになった。
The purpose of this study was to clarify the characteristics of the Holocaust in Byelorussian Soviet Socialist Republic’s capital, Minsk, in comparison with the Baltic countries etc. My research has shown that Byelorussia has developed a socialist solidarity awareness between non-Jews and Jews, especially among the new generations who have received a socialist education. In Minsk, it was revealed that the anti-Nazi resistance movement of this new generations played a role, albeit limited, in the rescue of the Ghetto Jews.
