関節可動域運動の効果を角度だけではなく組織の線維化を生じるとされる筋線維芽細胞の変化に着目して実験を行った。ラットの後肢を不動化した群，徒手的に可動域運動を行った群、対照群を作成し角度と関節構成体の変化を観察した。運動群の可動域制限は不動群に対して有意に少なかったが対照群に対して有意に大きい結果となった。関節構成体の変化では不動群で関節腔内に肉芽様細胞の侵入、滑膜との癒着が観察されたが実験群では軽度であった。関節包内の筋線維芽細胞の発現は運動群と対照群で差は見られなかった。
We conducted an experiment focusing on changes in myofibroblasts, which are believed to cause tissue fibrosis, as well as the effect of range of motion exercise.The groups in which the hind limbs of the rat were immobilized, the group in which the range of motion was manually performed, and the control group were prepared, and changes in angle and joint constituents were observed.The range of motion limitation in the exercise group was significantly smaller than that in the immobility group, but was significantly greater than that in the control group. With regard to changes in joint composition, granulation-like cells invaded into the joint cavity and adhesion with synovium were observed in the immobility group, but they were mild in the experimental group. The expression of myofibroblasts in the joint capsule was not different between the exercise group and the control group.
