GL-SPE吸引マニホールドシステム(GLサイエンス)に取り付けたキレート吸着剤であるInertSEP ME-2(GLサイエンス)を用いた短時間で濃縮可能な希土類元素の簡便・迅速な濃縮法を開発した. 開発した方法は, ppbレベルでは全ての希土類元素, pptレベルでは全ての希土類元素, pptレベルではSc以外の希土類元素をほぼ定量的に回収可能であった.石川県金沢市とその近郊を流れる大野川水系の浅野川, 金腐川, 森下川, 宇ノ気川, 大野川中のSc以外の溶存態希土類元素15元素を定量し, 濃度分布を明らかにした.
