Note (General): 造血幹細胞移植は血液悪性腫瘍の治療法として普及しているが、免疫の攻撃から腫瘍細胞が逃避することや副作用である移植片対宿主病の克服といった解決すべき問題点を抱えている。我々はマウスの骨髄移植モデルを用いて抗腫瘍効果を増強し、移植片対宿主病のリスクを軽減した移植法の開発を目指している。本研究では培養肥満細胞が同種免疫反応に対し抑制的に作用することを見出した。
Hematopoietic stem cell transplantation has been used in the treatment for hematological malignancy. The escape of tumor cells from immune attack, and graft-versus-host disease are unsolved problems. The aim of our study is development of transplantation with enhanced anti-tumor effect and reduced risk of graft-versus host disease. In this study, we have found that cultured mast cells suppress the allo-immune response.
