本研究において我々は，脂肪肝炎関連肝癌患者の末梢血および肝細胞癌組織浸潤免疫細胞の解析を行い，肝線維化進行や肝癌発症に関わる免疫担当細胞の特徴を明らかにした．脂肪肝炎関連肝癌はウイルス関連肝癌と比較して，樹状細胞をはじめとする免疫細胞プロファイルにおいて大きな違いが認められ，その結果は治療効果や予後と関連する傾向にあった．
In this study, we analyzed the peripheral blood and hepatocellular carcinoma tissue-infiltrating immune cells of patients with steatohepatitis-related hepatocellular carcinoma to characterize the immune cells involved in liver fibrosis progression and hepatocarcinogenesis. Compared with virus-related hepatocellular carcinoma, steatohepatitis-related hepatocellular carcinoma showed significant differences in immune cell profiles, including dendritic cells, which tended to be associated with treatment response and prognosis.
