Note (General): 本研究では、日本語の名詞修飾節構造が中国語や韓国語などと共通性を有するにもかかわらず、主節と名詞修飾節との間の垣根がより低い日本語において語用論的推論を用いて解釈を行う名詞修飾節の生産性が高いことを示し、それと連動して、第2言語としての英語の学習者においても日本語母語話者が中国語や韓国語母語話者などよりもより広い範囲の名詞修飾節に関する誤用があることを明らかにした。以上のことから、認知類型論的な個別言語の差異が、第2言語習得における干渉に影響を及ぼしていることが明らかになった。
In this study, we showed that although the structure of noun modifier clauses in Japanese is similar to those in Chinese, Korean, and other languages in Asia, the productivity of noun modifier clauses, which are interpreted using pragmatic reasoning, is high in Japanese where the barrier between the main clause and noun modifier clause is lower. From the above, it was clarified that the difference of individual languages with respect to cognitive typology affects the degree of interference in the second language acquisition.
