Note (General): 金沢大学人間社会研究域法学系
無作為抽出した金沢市の有権者に対して実施した調査のデータを分析した結果、現職候補や首長選の候補者など有権者が持つ情報量が多い候補者についてのイメージは仕事、能力、人柄など候補者の「中身」に関するものが多いのに対して、新人候補や議員選の候補者など情報量が少ない候補者のイメージは政党、政策、属性、経歴など外形的な特性に関するものが多いこと、候補者と直接話をした経験がある有権者は人柄についての良いイメージを持つ傾向があるなど候補者との接点が候補者についてのイメージの形成要因の1つとなっていること、首長選挙については仕事や能力に関するイメージが投票行動と結びついていること、などが明らかになった。
As results of analysis of data of survey researches in Kanazawa City about elections, it is concluded that, images of candidates, of whom electorates have a little information, are more about external characteristic such as political parties, policies, attributes, and careers than about works, abilities, and characters. And it is concluded that electorates' relationship with candidates, such as experiences of talk with a candidates, have effects on images of candidates, and, in cases of elections of heads of local governments, images of candidates about works and abilities have effects on voting behavior.
