我々の以前の研究で多発性筋炎の重症化に接着分子の一つであるL-selectinが関与する可能性が示唆された。本研究は、多発性筋炎のモデルマウスであるCIMに対し、selectinの阻害剤であるBimosiamoseを投与することにより、同分子が多発性筋炎の治療の標的となり得るかどうか検討するものである。現在、Bimosiamoseの投与量、投与スケジュールなどを検討している段階である。投与量、スケジュール等が決定すればCIMに投与を行い、筋炎の重症度を比較する予定である。
Our previous study revealed the possibility that L-selectin, one of the adhesion molecule, involve in severity of polymyositis. This study can reveal whether the L-selectin could be the therapeutic target for polymyositis by administration of bimosiamose, a one of the selectin inhibitor, to mouse model of polymyositis. We are considering about dosage, duration, and frequency of bimosiamose. When we make a decision about these points, we administrate bimosiamose to mouse model of polymyositis, and make a comparison of severity of myositis.
