本研究の概要は、盲学校等で日々行われている自立歩行の基礎となる視覚障害児の空間認知の学習を支援する触地図を開発することである。一般的に盲学校等では視覚障害児の空間認知の指導はレイズドラインマップなどの教材を用いて指導が行われている。しかしながら、これらの教材には作成に時間を要したり、既製品は高価であったり、コンテンツの更新が困難であったりと汎用性がない。そこで、本研究では上述の課題を解決し、視覚障害児が主体的に空間情報を獲得することができる触地図の開発を目指す。
