今年度は、有効面積を100cm2に増加したガンマ線トリガー検出器のフライトハードウェアの開発を行った。まずは読み出し回路基板のフライトモデルを設計し、これまでに放射線耐性を調べた回路部品を実装することで完成させた。次に、CsIシンチレータとMPPCと呼ばれる半導体光検出器の温度特性を測定し、出力ゲインが一定となるように温度補償を行うアルゴリズムを実装した。衛星環境で想定される温度範囲である0から+20度の範囲では、エネルギー分解能よりも十分に良い精度で温度補償ができていることを確認した。遮光対策を施して検出器筐体に格納し、熱真空チャンバーを用いた宇宙環境を模擬した試験と、打ち上げ環境を模擬した振動試験を実施した。いずれも正常であると判断し、フライトハードウェアは完成できたと言える。既にソフトウェアの大部分は完成していることから、衛星バス系との通信試験を実施した。地上系を模擬したPC、衛星バスCPU、そして検出器の間で、コマンドの送信とテレメトリデータの転送が正常に行えることを確認した。衛星バスとの間の基本的なインターフェースは完成したと言える。今後は、衛星打ち上げギリギリまで、ソフトウェアのデバッグ作業を実施していくが、当初の目標としていた、キューブサットに搭載可能な品質でのガンマ線トリガー検出器の基盤技術を完成できたと言える。
