本年度は、Sr精製装置の流路部分における調整と、装置操作のためのGUIプログラムの開発を進めた。当初の開発計画ではマイクロ流路を用いたOn-Chipタイプのプラスチックマイクロ流路を使用することになっていたが、マイクロ流路の内径ではSrの分離効率が悪いことがわかり、内径をより大きくすることで改善した。10サンプル同時精製のために流路改善を実施し、一定圧力による緩衝液フローの調整を行った。この装置を用いて、遺跡出土の歯エナメル質の前処理を実施し、Sr精製物を得た。従来法の自重落下タイプのアフィニティクロマトグラフィーよりも迅速に前処理が可能となり、現地における多検体のSr精製が可能になる見通しがついた。実際に現地において本装置を使用する際に、高温多湿・低温低湿環境下での極限環境使用の可能性も考慮する必要があるため、多様な条件を考慮した精製効率の検討を進めた。
