1,上咽頭癌症例の生検および手術材料においてin situハイブリダイゼーション法(ISH法)にてEpstein-Barrウイルス(EBV)が大量に産生しているmRNA,EBER1の発現を検討した.ついでEBER1陽性例においてモノクローナル抗体を用いて免疫組織化学的手法にてEBV関連蛋白であるBZLF1,EBNA2,LMP1,BHLF1の発現を検討した.EBER1が陽性であった症例は55例中45例であり、このうちBZLF1陽性例が18例,LMP1陽性例が17例,BHLF1陽性例が6例であったが,EBNA2は全例陰性であった.2,悪性リンパ腫症例では,特に鼻副鼻腔および口蓋扁桃などのWaldeyer輪原発症例の生検材料においてISH法にてEBER1陽性例の検討を行っており,現在のところ30例中8例がEBER1陽性であった.現在EBER1陽性例に対してBZLF1などの発現を検討している.3,上咽頭癌や悪性リンパ腫症例の血清中における抗BZLF1抗体を検出するため,BZLF1遺伝子を組み込んだプラスミドを大腸菌に導入し,抗原としてのBZLF1蛋白の分離精製を行っている.
