本年度は,超音波療法が関節周囲の組織に及ぼす影響を検索する目的で実験を行った.実験動物として,正常ラットを用い,ラットのアキレス腱部に超音波照射を行い,その後の腱組織コラーゲン線維の可溶性変化を検討した.実験動物は8週齢のウイスター系ラット.超音波照射装置は日本メディックス社製・インタートロン6100を用いた.その結果,1.塩可溶性コラーゲン量:全コラーゲンに対する塩可溶性コラーゲンの割合は,非照射群と照射群間において有意差を認めなかった(p>0.05).2.酸可溶性コラーゲン量:全コラーゲンに対する酸可溶性コラーゲンの割合は,非照射群に比較し照射群が有意に増加した(p<0.05).3.不溶性コラーゲン量:全コラーゲンに対する不溶性コラーゲンの割合は,非照射群に比較し照射群が有意に減少した(p<0.05).4.不溶性コラーゲンのペプシン可溶化率:不溶性コラーゲンをペプシン処理し,可溶化したコラーゲンの割合は,非照射群と照射群間において有意差を認めなかった(p>0.05).以上の可溶性の変化に関する結果から,超音波照射により腱組織コラーゲンの可溶性は変化する可能性が示唆された.これにより,超音波照射はコラーゲン分子に形成される架橋結合に関しても影響を及ぼしていることが推察される.今後は関節拘後の腱組織に超音波照射を行い,コラーゲン線維の可溶性変化を検索し,正常とは異なる状態の組織に対する超音波療法の影響を検討する必要性があると考えられる.
