Note (General): 金沢大学自然科学研究科
発泡するマグマにおける希薄衝撃波の存在には,気泡の核形成・成長のカイネティックスが重要な役割を果たしている.しかし,気泡の核形成・成長など発泡のカイネティックスを組み込んだ二相流の支配方程式は,現在のところまだ定式化すら成されていない.それどころか,最も単純な一次元問題で,二相が等しい速度を持つ均質流体の場合ですら,カイネティックスは考慮されていない.今年度は,カイネティックスと流体運動のカップリングを調べるために,流体力学の式に気泡の核形成・成長過程を組み込む定式化を行った.気相と液相が等速度を持つ均質流体近似を用いて,二相流の質量と運動量の保存の式を簡単化し,Toramaru(1995)による発泡のカイネティックスの定式化を組み込んだ.均質流体近似は,プリニ-式のようにマグマの粘性が大きくかつ爆発的な噴火に対してよい近似であり,仮想質量を含む界面圧力密度の記述といった二相流独特の難しい問題を回避することができた.その結果,基礎方程式はカイネティックスの支配領域によって二つの場合に分けられた.カイネティックスの粘性支配領域では,気相と液相の圧力が異なるため,気相の圧力,液相の圧力,混合流体の速度についての三つの偏微分方程式が得られた.カイネティックスの拡散支配領域では,気相と液相の圧力が等しくなり,基礎方程式は,圧力と流速についての二つの偏微分方程式になる.これら流体力学の式とカイネティックスの定式化は,一次元の流れが存在する場での液相中のガス成分濃度や気泡サイズ分布関数のモーメントについての保存則によって結び付けられている.
