近年、イオンチャネルの離合集散とチャネル機能の関連に関心が寄せられている。本研究の目的は、光応答性DNAをイオンチャネルの架橋剤として利用することでチャネル間距離を精密に制御し、チャネル機能に及ぼす影響について明らかにすることである。適切な配列のDNAを設計することで、室温におけるチャネル間距離の制御に成功した。
Recently, we have focused on the relationship between clustering and dispersion of ion channels and its functions. In this study, we have controlled the distance between channels by using photoresponsive DNA as a crosslinking agent for ion channels. By designing DNA with an appropriate sequence, we succeeded in controlling the distance between channels at room temperature.
