本研究課題について以下の成果を得た。1.リーマン空間内の領域における拡散方程式の斜微分問題を係数のヘルダー連続性の条件の下で考察して,対応する拡散過程の一意性および非斉次方程式の解のFeynmanKac型の表現を得た.これらは境界に涌き出しがあるときでも成立する.上記の拡散方程式の基本解の新たな構成法を得た.それによって,非斉次方程式の解の基本解による積分表現を境界条件が非斉次のときも得ることができた.基本解の構成は確率論的な考察によって得られたパラメトリックスの具体的な表現を基にparametrix methodを二度適用して構成する.この構成に基づき2の結果が得られ,さらに基本解の正値性も得られる.上記1,2および3を得るときには,新しい幾何学的な考察を必要とした.すなわち,1においては,与えられたリーマン計量のsmoothingについての考察,2,3においては,C^<γ+α>級のmanifold pair(γ:正整数,0<α<1)に適合したC^∞‐構造が入ることを証明し,必要な滑らかさをもった管状近傍の存在を示した.関連して、リーマン空間上のL_2‐cohomologyについての考察および直交多項式についての調和解析を行い正解を得た.
