(1)ジャコウネズミの迷走神経心臓枝の全体像の解明:当該動物の頸部と胸部を実体顕微鏡下で解剖し、心臓に分布する迷走神経の心臓ならびにその周囲の大血管に分布する枝を精細に剖出し、全体像を初めて明らかにした。当該の神経(枝)に関してはヴェサリウス(1555)以来無数の論文があるが、名称の混乱が著しい。そのため、観察した神経枝を命名するための規範を自らつくることに、苦労した。私たちには幸い、ニワトリ胚の迷走神経の心臓枝の発生に関する基礎データがあったので、これに依拠し、「発生学の観点から、神経の分布先を根拠にして命名する」することに成功した。この命名は脊椎動物全体に通用するので、人体解剖学、発生学ならびに比較解剖学の記載の混乱を整理することが可能である。所見は「Vagal cardiac branches to the heart and the adjoining areat vessels in the house shrew」という題名の論文にまとめられ、投稿寸前の段階である。(2)ラットとヒヨコにおいても同様に、論文を作成し、前者は投稿寸前、後者は完成間近である。(3)ニワトリ胚の迷走神経心臓枝の発生についても、基礎データが出揃い、論文作成の段階に入った。いずれの論文でも、当該科学研究費の補助への謝辞を記させて戴いている。
