プロスタグランディンI_2の抗血小板作用による転移抑制作用を検討する目的でマウス大腸癌脾注入モデルを用いて検討した結果、1、マウス大腸癌細胞であるcolon26細胞10^4個/0.1mlを脾臓内注入し肝転移モデルを作製したところ、その生存期間は、ほぼ3週間と安定していた。2、Colon26細胞の血行性肝転移モデルにおけるBeraprost sodiumの転移抑制効果をみたところ、0.01mg/kg、0.1mg/kg7日間連続投与群では、生理的食塩水投与群の対照群と投与後7日間における肝表面の転移個数にはほとんど差は認められなかったが、1.0mg/kgの投与群では対照群と比較してやや転移個数が少ない傾向を認めた。また1.0mg/kgの投与群では生存期間の延長を認めた。3、投与群と対照群で各種増殖期細胞抗体、増殖因子抗体などを用いて免疫染色を行い検討を行ったが明確な差は認められなかった。以上よりプロスタグランディンI_2誘導体であるBeraprost sodiumは転移抑制効果を有する可能性が示唆された。
