落石覆工においては限界状態が十分明確でないのが現状である.覆工の限界状態としては構造全体の崩壊が挙げられるが,事故の実例が報告されているように,屋根部スラブの打ち抜きも重要な限界状態の一つと考えられる.その耐衝撃性能が明らかになればより安全性の高い覆工の設計への適用も可能であると考えられる.本研究では,最も基本的な問題として鋼繊維補強コンクリートスラブに対し静的載荷実験ならびに重錘落下による衝撃実験を行い,各種条件下での破壊形式の特徴,スラブの貫通に必要なエネルギー、またクラック面積と破壊形式やエネルギーの関係そして貫入の発生などの基本的な特性を明かにしている.またRC板の飛来物に対する評価式を提案した。また、不連続体の数値シミュレーションに有効である個別要素を用いてコンクリート板の打ち抜きのシミュレーション方法を開発し、解析手法の妥当性を検証すると共にパラメトリックな各種計算を行い打ち抜きに関する特性について検討した。
