Note (General): 金沢大学医学部・整形外科学
高頻度に肺転移を生じる細胞の抗線溶活性が上昇していることから、抗癌剤とフィブリノーゲンもしくはplasminogen activator-inhibitor-1(PAI-1)を結合させ肺転移巣に対するターゲット療法を計画した。しかしながら、抗癌剤とフィブリノーゲンあるいはPAI-1との結合がうまくいかず、計画を一部変更してurokinase-plasminogen activator(uPA)とPAI-1及びそれらの抗体による肺転移の治療の可能性を探ることとした。結果はuPA、抗uPA抗体およびPAI-1では肺転移はむしろ増加し、抗PAI-1抗体の投与で、ヌードマウス尾静脈より注入した腫瘍細胞の実験肺転移を抑制することができた。これは今後の臨床における肺転移抑制の研究において意義深いことと思われた。
