中国福建省の祭祀芸能の特徴として演者の守護神の「戯神」が大きな役割を果たすことを指摘できる。「戯神」は田都元帥や相公爺と呼ばれ、唐代の楽工（楽士）の雷海青とも同じと見なされる。演劇の開始に先立って舞台に勧請され、最後には丁重に神送りの儀礼を行う。特に人形戯（傀儡戯）は禳災招福を願う儀礼の性格が強く厳...
