CD4 T 細胞をIL-23またはIL-12存在下に培養し、Th17細胞およびTh1細胞を誘導した。IL-17またはIFN-gamma産生細胞分離キットでTh17細胞及びTh1細胞を単離し、培養上清を採取した。Th17細胞の培養上清は血管新生活性を有し、一部IL-17A抗体で阻害された。さらに、Th17細胞の培養上清は、HMVECの遊走を促進した。また、Th17細胞、肺癌細胞及び線維芽細胞を共培養すると、培養液中の血管新生因子の濃度か有意に増加した。Th17 cells were isolated and culture supernatants were collected. Culture supernatants of Th17 cells were found to have the activity to induce　neovascular formation, and this activity was inhibited, in part, by an anti-IL-17 antibody.
