• Note (General): 高速かつ高精度な中性子・光子輸送モンテカルロ計算を実現するため、日本原子力研究開発機構において、2つのモンテカルロコードMVP(連続エネルギー法)とGMVP(多群法)が開発されてきた。これらのコードはベクトル型アルゴリズムを採用し、ベクトル計算機用に開発されてきたが、標準並列化ライブラリーMPIを用いた並列計算にも対応しており、一般の計算機環境でもモンテカルロ計算の高速化が可能である。両コードは正確な物理モデル、詳細な幾何形状表現法、分散低減法等、実用コードとして十分な機能を有している。これらコードの第1版は1994年、第2版は2005年に公開され、それ以降も様々な改良と機能拡張が行われてきた。第2版公開以降の主な改良点と新機能は、(1)実効増倍率に対する摂動計算手法、(2)厳密共鳴弾性散乱モデル、(3)動特性パラメータ計算機能、(4)光核反応モデル、(5)遅発中性子のシミュレーション、(6)多群定数生成機能等である。本報告書では2つのコードで用いられている物理モデル、幾何形状表現法、新たな機能及びそれらの使用法が記載されている。; In order to realize fast and accurate Monte Carlo simulation of neutron and photon transport problems, two Monte Carlo codes MVP (continuous-energy method) and GMVP (multigroup method) have been developed at Japan Atomic Energy Agency. The codes have adopted a vectorized algorithm and have been developed for vector-type supercomputers. They also support parallel processing with a standard parallelization library MPI and thus a speed-up of Monte Carlo calculations can be achieved on general computing platforms. The first and second versions of the codes were released in 1994 and 2005, respectively. They have been extensively improved and new capabilities have been implemented. The major improvements and new capabilities are as follows: (1) perturbation calculation for effective multiplication factor, (2) exact resonant elastic scattering model, (3) calculation of reactor kinetics parameters, (4) photo-nuclear model, (5) simulation of delayed neutrons, (6) generation of group constants, etc. This report describes the physical model, geometry description method used in the codes, new capabilities and input instructions.
