• Note (General): In order to predict the impact of atmospheric pollutants (gases and aerosols) to the terrestrial ecosystem, new schemes for calculating the processes of dry deposition of gases and aerosols, and water and carbon cycles in terrestrial ecosystems were implemented in the one-dimensional atmosphere-SOiL-VEGetation model, SOLVEG. We made performance tests at various vegetation areas to validate the newly developed schemes. In this report, the detail in each modeled process is described with an instruction how to use the modified SOLVEG. The framework of "terrestrial ecosystem model" was developed for investigation of a change in water, energy, and carbon cycles associated with global warming and air pollution and its impact on terrestrial ecosystems.; 自然および人為起源の大気汚染物質(ガス・エアロゾル)の陸域生態系への移行過程を評価するために、大気中ガスやエアロゾルの乾性沈着とそれに関連する過程(氷相、植物成長、土壌有機物分解)の新しいスキームを、著者らの多層大気-土壌-植生1次元モデルSOLVEGに導入し、これらのスキームの検証試験を様々な植生地で行ってきた。本報告では、新たにモデル化したそれぞれの過程と、改良したモデルの利用方法の詳細を記述した。この改良によって、地球温暖化や大気汚染に伴う大気-陸面間の水・エネルギー・物質循環の変化と、それが生態系に及ぼす影響の評価を調べるための「陸域生態系モデル」の基盤が完成した。
