• Note (General): 放射性廃棄物の地層処分では、地下施設の建設にセメント系材料の使用が想定されている。一般に、土木・建築分野で使用されている普通ポルトランドセメント(以下、OPC)を用いた場合、セメント起源の高アルカリ性間隙水(pH=12.5以上)が浸出し、周辺の緩衝材や岩盤の性能を低下させる可能性がある。そこで、セメント系材料に起因する浸出水のpHを低下させることを目的として、低アルカリ性セメントが開発されている。日本原子力研究開発機構では、低アルカリ性セメントの候補として、フライアッシュ高含有シリカフュームセメント(High-volume Fly ash Silica fume Cement、以下、HFSC)を開発した。これまでに幌延深地層研究センター地下研究施設の坑道で、HFSCを用いた吹付けコンクリートの原位置施工試験を通じ、吹付けコンクリートとしての施工性を確認してきた。本報告は、実際の地下施設の施工において適用可能と考えられる配合で作製されたHFSCセメントペースト硬化体について、その長期的なpH挙動を把握することを主な目的として実施している浸漬試験について、これまでに得られた結果をまとめたものである。; Cementitious materials are expected to be used for the construction of an underground repository for the geological disposal of radioactive wastes. Ordinary Portland Cement(OPC) would conventionally be used in the fields of civil engineering and architecture, however, OPC has the potential to generate a highly alkaline plume (pH$>$12.5), which will likely degrade the performance of other barriers in the repository such as the bentonite buffer and/or host rock. Low alkaline cementitious materials are therefore being developed that will mitigate the generation of a highly alkaline plume. JAEA has developed a High-volume Fly ash Silica fume Cement (HFSC) as a candidate low alkaline cementitious material. The workability of the HFSC shotcrete was confirmed by conducting In-situ full scale construction tests in the Horonobe underground research laboratory. This report summarizes the results of immersion tests to assess the long-term pH behavior of hardened HFSC cement pastes made with mix designs that are expected to be able to be used in the construction of an underground repository in Japan.
