• Note (General): 高速炉の炉心燃料集合体では、燃焼度が高くなると燃料ピン束とラッパ管の機械的相互作用(BDI)が発生する。高速炉燃料の高性能化に向けて、太径燃料ピンのBDI挙動を予測することが必要になることから、照射燃料集合体試験施設(FMF)において太径燃料ピンを対象とした炉外バンドル圧縮試験手法を確立した。これまでに「常陽」や「もんじゅ」の細径燃料ピン、FFTF炉仕様の燃料ピンを対象とした炉外バンドル圧縮試験を実施してきたが、ホットイン後においても従来と同様の炉外バンドル圧縮試験を行うため、バンドル圧縮試験装置をセル外に設置し、圧縮の都度バンドル試験体をセル内に搬入し、X線CT検査装置により内部観察を行う新たな試験手法を確立した。本技術開発によりセルのホットイン後においても炉外バンドル圧縮試験を実施できることを確認した。本技術は、高速炉燃料の健全性評価、BDI解析コードの検証に加え、安全設計ガイドラインの具体化に向けた検討に反映可能である。また、フランスで開発が進められている技術実証炉「ASTRID」のBDI挙動評価にも反映が期待できる。; Bundle-duct interaction (BDI) in fast reactors (FRs) is one of the limiting factors for burnup. To study the high performance fuel for FR fuel, it is important to establish the method to predict accurately the BDI behavior for the fuel assembly of large-diameter fuel pins. Therefore, it was adopted a new method that the bundle compression test apparatus is placed outside the cell, the bundle specimen is put in the airtight container for contamination prevention, and the bundle specimen is carried in the cell for internal observation by X-ray CT examination apparatus. From the result of this test, it was confirmed that the new method of out-of-pile bundle compression test is carried out as it was before. The results of this test are available to study integrity assessment of fast reactor fuel, validation of the BDI analysis code and substantiation of the safety design guidelines of fast reactor. In addition, it is possible to reflect in the BDI behavior evaluation for "ASTRID".
