Note (General): This report provides a concise overview of knowledge and experience gained from the activities for environmental remediation after the Fukushima Dai-ichi accident. It is specifically tailored for international use to establish or refine the technical basis for strategic, off-site response to nuclear incidents. It is produced by JAEA, reflecting JAEA's key role in the research associated with both remediation of contaminated areas and the natural processes influencing contamination migration in non-remediated areas, working together with a number of Japanese and international organisations and research institutes. The report also provides a perspective on the future actions required to remediate all areas outside the 1F site.
東京電力福島第一原子力発電所事故に伴い放出された放射性物質の地表への沈着状況等を踏まえ、放射線モニタリングとマッピング、被ばく線量推定、除染技術開発、環境中に沈着した放射性セシウムの挙動調査等の環境回復の取り組みが行われてきた。これまでの環境回復の取り組みで得られた知識や経験は、公衆と環境の防護のための防災対策(原子力事故により重大な放射性物質の放出が発生しても公衆被ばくを抑制するように備えること)の技術基盤として整備することにより国内外での活用に資することが期待できる。本報告書は、国内外での活用のため、主に原子力機構における環境回復の取組みに基づき得られた知識や経験を今後の環境回復の取り組みに向けた検討も含めまとめたものである。
