• Note (General): 材料試験炉JMTR(Japan Materials Testing Reactor)では、中性子反射体に金属ベリリウムを使用している。しかし、中性子照射下において機械的強度の低下及びスエリング(体積膨張)による曲がり等が発生するため定期的な交換が必要である。そこで、JMTRの稼働率向上及び放射性廃棄物低減の観点から長期使用が可能な材料を選定する必要がある。そのためには、金属ベリリウムの諸特性を詳細に評価することが重要である。本報告書は、金属ベリリウムの評価方法として検討されている透過電子顕微鏡における試料の作製方法の検討及び観察結果についてまとめたものである。; In JMTR, beryllium metal is used for neutron reflector. However, the periodical exchange of the neutron reflector is necessary due to degradation of strength and swelling under neutron irradiation. So it is required to select the material that bears long term from the viewpoint of the utilization rate improvement and the radioactive waste decrease in JMTR. It is important to evaluate the characteristics of beryllium metals precisely. This report describes the preparation method of the sample and observation results by the transmission electron microscope that is being examined as a evaluation method of the beryllium metal.
