• Note (General): 独立行政法人日本原子力研究開発機構は、「国の研究開発評価に関する大綱的指針」及び「文部科学省における研究及び開発に関する評価指針」、並びに原子力機構の「研究開発課題評価実施規定」(平成18年1月1日改訂)等に基づき、原子力施設の廃止措置対策や放射性廃棄物処理処分に対して「廃止措置の進め方」及び「処理処分の進め方」に関する中間評価を研究開発・評価委員会(バックエンド推進・評価委員会)に諮問した。これを受けて、バックエンド推進・評価委員会は、本委員会によって定められた評価方法に従い、計画の妥当性及び進め方の妥当性の観点から評価を行い、廃止措置の進め方については妥当、処理処分の進め方についてはおおむね妥当であると評価した。; Japan Atomic Energy Agency (JAEA) consulted the "Evaluation Committee of Nuclear Cycle Backend Program Promotion" to assess the issues on "Nuclear facilities decontamination program" and "Radioactive waste treatment and disposal program" in accordance with the "Guideline for evaluation for the evaluation of government R\&D activities", the "Guideline for evaluation of R\&D in Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT)" and the "Operational rule for evaluation of R\&D activities" by JAEA. In response to JAEA's request, the Committee assessed the project plan and execution method of both projects. As a result of review, the Committee concluded that nuclear facilities decommissioning program is reasonable, and nuclear waste treatment and disposal program is almost reasonable in accordance with the evaluation method having been decided by the Committee.
