• Note (General): 日本原子力研究開発機構では、水対燃料の体積比を0.2程度以下にすることにより高増殖比及び超高燃焼度の特徴を有する超高燃焼水冷却増殖炉の技術的及び工学的成立性の確立を目指した要素技術開発として、稠密格子炉心熱特性試験を実施している。本試験では、水冷却増殖炉の稠密格子炉心燃料集合体を模擬した37本バンドル試験体(基準試験体(燃料棒間隙幅1.3mm),パラメータ効果試験体2体(燃料棒間隙幅効果試験体(間隙幅1.0mm)及び燃料棒曲がり効果試験体))を用いて、除熱限界に対する基本的課題(高稠密格子体系での除熱限界、並びに除熱限界に及ぼす燃料棒間隙幅の効果及び燃料棒曲がりの効果)を明らかにすることを目的としている。本報告書では燃料棒間隙幅効果試験体を用いた試験結果をまとめる。水冷却増殖炉の定格運転条件を内包する広い試験条件(圧力・流量・局所出力係数等)範囲における定常時及び過渡時の限界出力特性,圧力損失特性,壁面熱伝達特性を取得した。また、基準試験体を用いた試験結果との比較より、燃料棒間隙幅を検討した。; Japan Atomic Energy Agency has been performing tight-lattice rod bundle thermal-hydraulic tests to realize essential technologies for the technological and engineering feasibility of super high burn-up water-cooled breeder reactor featured by a high breeding ratio and super high burn-up by reducing the core water volume in water-cooled reactor. The tests are performing to make clear the fundamental subjects related to the boiling transition (BT)(Subjects: BT criteria under a highly tight-lattice rod bundle, effects of gap-width between rods and of rod-bowing) using 37-rod bundles (Base case test section (1.3mm gap-width), Two parameter effect test sections (Gap-width effect one (1.0mm) and Rod-bowing one)). In the present report, we summarize the test results from the gap-width effect section. The thermal-hydraulic characteristics were obtained for the critical power under the steady-state and transient conditions, the pressure drop and the wall heat transfer within a wide range of pressure, flow rate, etc. including normal operational conditions of the designed reactor. Then the gap-width effects were also obtained from the comparison between the results using the base case test section and the gap-width effect one.
