• Note (General): The present report summarizes the fundamental investigation on the thermochemical aspects of sodium combustion in case of sodium-leak incident of FBR. The main achievements obtained during the 3-year research since April 2000 can be classified as the following 6 categories, (1) A high temperature mass spectrometer was developed to measure partial vapor pressures of the vapor species in a given system. By using this equipment, most of the possible sodium ferrates of Fe$^{2+}$ and Fe$^{3+}$ had been studied so that unknown properties of them were determined. (2) Assessment of the thermodynamic data in Na-Fe-O system had been carried out so that a self-consistent data set for the main sodium ferrates NaFeO$_{2}$, Na$_{3}$FeO$_{3}$, Na$_{4}$FeO$_{3}$, Na$_{5}$FeO$_{4}$, Na$_{8}$Fe$_{2}$O$_{7}$, Na$_{3}$Fe$_{5}$O$_{9}$, as well as Na$_{4}$Fe$_{6}$O$_{11}$ was created. (3) User databases for chemical equilibrium calculation code Thermo-Calc and MALT2 were made so that ternary phase diagrams of Na-Fe-O from roomtemperature to 1200K were constructed. Chemical potential diagrams as; 本報告書は、高速増殖炉ナトリウム漏えい事故時におけるナトリウム燃焼にかかわる化学熱力学的評価に間する著者の研究成果の要約版である。2000年4月からの3年間の研究成果は以下の6項目に分類される。(1)蒸気分圧を測定可能な高温質量分析システムを構築した。この分析装置を用いて、ほとんどのFe$^{2+}$およびFe$^{3+}$のNaFe複合酸化物について、熱力学特性に間する研究を実施した。(2)種種のNaFe複合酸化物(NaFeO$_{2}$, Na$_{3}$FeO$_{3}$, Na$_{4}$FeO$_{3}$, Na$_{5}$FeO$_{4}$, Na$_{8}$Fe$_{2}$O$_{7}$, Na$_{3}$Fe$_{5}$O$_{9}$およびNa$_{4}$Fe$_{6$6O$_{11}$)について整合性のとれた熱力学データベースを構築するために、これら化合物の熱力学データの評価を行った。(3)室温から1200KまでのNa-Fe-O系3元平衡状態図を作成するために、化学平衡計算コードThermo-CalcおよびMALT2用のユーザーデータベースを作成した。P$_{O2}$およびP$_{Na}$の関数とした化学ポテンシャル図も作成し、各相における化学的安定性を定量的に示した。(4)さらに、研究をNa-Fe-O-H-C系に発展させた。H$_{2}$O/CO$_{2}$雰囲気におけるNaFe複合酸化物の平衡状態をコンピュータシュミレーションにより計算した。その結果は、いくつかの平衡状態図を用いてP$_{H$_{2}$O}$とP$_{CO}$_{2}$$の関数として示した。(5)高温質量分析計にガス供給システムを付加した。水蒸気および/またはC0$_{2}$をクヌーセンセルに供給して、NaFe複合酸化物の安定性に関する水蒸気およびC0$_{2}$の影響を調べた。実験データと計算結果の比較から、反応プロセスの考察を熱力学及び動力学見地から行った。(6)平衡計算とガス供給条件下における実験結果に基づいて、腐食機構と局所的な環境条件の関係を考察した。
