Ti:sapphireレーザーに用いる励起光源のエネルギー利用効率の向上を目的としてNd:YAGレーザー光を効率よく第二高調波光に変換する方式を新たに考案した。KTP結晶を用いた基礎実験において、この方式を用いることにより、76MW/cm$^{2}$の低い入射Nd:YAGレーザー光強度に対して80\%の高い変換効率が得られた。607mJの入射Nd:YAGレーザー光に対して486mJの第二高調波出力光が10Hzの繰り返し率で得られた。
