• Note (General): 本調査は、岐阜県瑞浪市月吉地区に分布する土岐花崗閃緑岩を対象とした超深地層研究所計画の地表からの調査の一部として平成10年度に実施したものである。その目的は、1.地表からの調査段階における初期的な岩盤力学的概念モデルを構築する、2.超深地層研究所の設計に必要な力学的特性を把握する、の2点である。調査は、大きく室内試験と原位置試験に分かれている。室内試験としては、AN-1号孔及びMIU-1号孔のコアを用いた物理試験と力学試験、ならびにMIU-1号孔のコアを用いたAE法による応力測定を地表$\sim$深度1000mの範囲で実施した。原位置試験としては、水圧破砕法による初期応力測定をAN-1号孔にて実施した。得られた結果の概要は、以下の通りである。1)AN-1号孔及びMIU-1号孔における室内物性試験及び力学試験結果から、土岐花崗岩の各物性値の深度方向の分布は一様ではなく、物性値の分布傾向は、0$\sim$300m、300$\sim$700m、700m以深で異なると推定される。2)AN-1号孔及びMIU-1号孔における応力測定結果から、鉛直方向の応力分布は、3深度を除き土被り圧とほぼ等しく、水平面内の応力状態は、推定土被り圧と測定結果の比較から、0$\sim$300m、300$\sim$700m、700m以深で異なることがわかった。また、最大主応力の方向は、地表$\sim$300mの範囲まではNS方向、それ以深はNW方向に変化していることがわかった。深度300m以深の最大主応力方向は、測地学的な最大圧縮軸の方向とほぼ一致しており、広域応力場をある程度反映したものと考えられる。3)岩手県釜石鉱山の栗橋花崗閃緑岩と比較した場合、岩石マトリックスの有効空隙率が1\%と大きく、密度が小さくなっている。また、強度・変形特性(一軸圧縮強度等)については、栗橋花崗閃緑岩とほぼ同等であり 、釜石原位置試験で観察された応力集中による坑道周辺岩盤への物理的損傷等の力学的な現象は、超深地層研究所建設時でも起こりうる可能性が高いと考えられる。4; The investigations on Rock mechanics in AN-1 and MIU-1 have been carried out in l998 as a part of the investigations in pre-investigation phase in MIU (Mizunami Undergroud Researeh Laboratory) project. The objectives of the investigation are: (1)to develop the conceptual model on rock mechanics in pre-investigation phase in MIU project, (2)to obtain the mechanical data of Toki ganite for the design of MIZUNAMI Underground Research Laboratory. The investigations in AN-1 and MIU-1 consist of three part : (1)Laboratory tests for the mechanical properties of rock matrix in AN-1 and MIU-1 boreholes. (2)Stress measurement in laboratory with AE method in MIU-1 borehole. (3)In-situ stress measurement with hydraulic fracturing in AN-1 borehole. The results of the investigations are summarized as follows : *The distribution of rock mechanical properties for Toki granite is not unique and can be approximated by forth term polynomial equation. The distribution of each properties for Toki granite has different trend with each section, where are until 300m, from 300 to 700m and over 700m. *The vertical component of stress tensors are almost equal to the overburden pressure based on the results of stress measurement with AE method. The stress state from surface to 1000m depth is divided into three part, sueh as reverse fault type (0$\sim$300m), transitional stress regime (300$\sim$700m) and strike-slip faulting type (700$\sim$1000m). The average direction of maximum principal stresses from surface to 300m depth is found to be N-S and the direction from 300m depth was N-W direction. The direction is correspond with the direction of maximum compressive axis derived from triangular survey with the region. *Toki granite is larger in the effective porosity and lower in density than that of Kamaishi granodiorite.
