- 出版タイプ： NA高速中性子による照射スエリングがオーステナイト鋼に比べて格段に小さいことから、高速炉における高燃焼度の達成の観点から注目されているフェライト鋼を、高速炉用新型燃料であるウラン・プルトニウム混合窒化物燃料ピンの被覆材に適用した。適用にあたりフェライト鋼を選定し、被覆管および端栓材を製作した。溶接については、端栓形状および溶接条件の検討を行い、充分な溶け込みを得た。フェライト鋼は溶接によりじん性および延性が低下するので熱処理を必要とする。このため、新たに熱処理装置を設置し、硬さの回復を目やすに熱処理条件を決定した。この他、板材を用いて各種の材料試験を実施したので、合わせて紹介する。
