• Note (General): 本報告書は、技術開発部プラント工学室で組識しているJUPITERサブワーキングGrの平成元年度の成果をまとめたものである。JUPITERサブワーキングGrは、動燃事業団が米国エネルギー省(DOE)との共同研究としてアルゴンヌ国立研究所(ANL-W)の大型臨界実験装置ZPPRで実施した大型高速炉臨界実験(JUPITER-III)の計画、実験解析を行うためのワーキンググループである。JUPITER-IIIは電気出力65万kW級の軸方向非均質炉心模擬実験(ZPPR-17シリーズ)と100万kW級の均質炉心模擬実験(ZPPR-18シリーズ)からなる。JUPITER-III実験解析は本年度で終了し、その成果を過去のJUPITER-I,II(電気出力60万$\sim$80万kW級の均質、径方向非均質炉心模擬実験)の解析結果と比較してJUPITER実験解析を総合評価した。本年度の主な成果は下記の通りである。(1) JUPITER実験解析法をセル計算を中心に検討して現状の最新解析法をまとめると共に、これらに基づく炉心設計法を設定した。; The works of JUPITER sub-working group in FY'89 are summarized in this report. JUPITER-III program is the co-operative research program between PNC and DOE, using ZPPR in ANL-W. The JUPITER sub-working group is organized by Plant Engineering Office, Technology Development Division, PNC for planning and analysis of the experiment in JUPITER-III program. The first half of the JUPTER-III program, the ZPPR-17 program, was physics benchmark experiments to study the neutronic behavior of a 650MWe-size, axially heterogeneous LMR core. The second half of the program, the ZPPR-18 program, was for a 1000MWe-size two-zone homogeneous core. JUPITER-III experiment analyses have been finished this year. These results were compared with those of JUPTER-I, II (600$\sim$800MWe-size, homogeneous and radially heterogeneous cores). The main results of this year are as follows. (1)The analysis methods used in JUPITER analyses were selected studying core analysis method with detailed cell models, and a core design model for large LMFBR was recommended on the basis of the above analysis method. (2)The following conclusions were obtained from the evaluation of JUPITER analyses. (i)The k$_{eff}$ C/E values for axially heterogeneous cores lie between homogeneous and radially heterogeneous cores (the difference $\simeq$ 0.4\%). The C/E value becomes large as the amount of internal blanket increases. (ii)The C/E values were about 0.9 at the core center for control rods. The C/E values for reaction rates and control rod worths increase with the distance from the core center (reaction rate $\simeq$ 0.5\%, control rod worth $\simeq$ 10\%). However, the degree of the C/E radial dependence decreases for ZPPR-18, which is a larger core. By studying the cause from the point of the nuclear cross section errors, it was fbund that the C/E radial dependence depends on the core cofiguration as well, for example Pu enrichment and radius ratio between inner and outer core.
