• Note (General): 本報告書は、動力炉研究開発本部炉技術開発Gr.で組織されているJASPERサブワーキングGr.が昭和63年度に実施した研究成果をまとめたものである。動力炉・核燃料開発事業団では、米国エネルギー省(DOE)との共同研究としてオークリッジ国立研究所(ORNL)の実験装置TSF(Tower Shielding Facility)を用いて大型炉遮蔽ベンチマーク実験(JASPER計画、Japanese American Shielding Program of Experimental Researches)を実施しており、JASPERサブワーキングGr.は実験の計画、データ解析を行うためのワーキンググループである。JASPERサブワーキングGr.では、JASPER計画で得られた実験データのほか、日米情報交換で動燃が入手した実験データ、及び、ORNLのTSFで実施され既に公開されている実験データを解析すると同時に、実験解析や高速炉の遮蔽設計解析で明らかになった解析法の問題点の検討や解析手法の開発を行っている。JASPER計画は現在継続中であり、サブワーキングGr.の解析も次年度以降継続の予定である為、個々の解析には完結していないものもある。; The works of JASPER sub-working group in FY'88 are summarized in this report. JASPER (Japanese American Shielding Program of Experimental Researches) is the co-operative research program between PNC and DOE, U.S.A., using TSF (Tower Shielding Facility) in ORNL(Oak Ridge National Laboratory) as the experiment facility, and the JASPER sub-working group is organized by the reactor physics group of Reactor Research and Development Project, PNC, for plannings and analyses of the experiments in the JASPER program. In the JASPER sub-working group, the experimental data obtained in MONJU/CRBR information exchange agreement and the published data of TSF experiments have been analyzed in addition to the JASPER data. The sub-working group also investigates and develops the methods for FBR shielding analyses. The items and main results of this year are as follows: some of them will be completed in the JASPER program and sub-working group in the following years. The first experiment analyzed in the sub-working group is the sodium benchmark experiment. Nuclear group constant library JSDJ2 made from JENDL-2 file, and the library JSD100 from ENDF/B-IV are both applied to the analysis. The C/E values by JSDJ2 have been proved to be 0.73$\sim$0.89, and also those by JSD100 to be 0.91$\sim$1.07, in the 10$^{6}$ decay of neutron fluxes. By the analysis of the alternate shield experiment, which is the neutron penetration experiment for B$_{4}$C shield, the C/E value by JSDJ2 have been proved to be 0.61$\sim$1.23 for the thick cases of B$_{4}$C regions. The analyses of the first fission experiment and the three dimensional stored fuel experiment, which are both for the estimation of the neutron flux increase by the fuel stored in the in-vessel storage tank, have shown that the C/E values for the fast neutron production in the stored fuel are 0.54 by JSDJ2 and also 0.71 by JSD100.
