- 出版タイプ： NA従来、再処理施設内から発生した地下浸透水は各建家内の地下浸透水ピットに設置されている排水ポンプにより自動的に建家外の雑排水口へ排出され、地下浸透水の異常の有無については月1回の定期的なサンプリング及び分析によって確認していた。しかるに1978年2月廃棄物処理場放射性配管分岐室内の廃液漏洩事故が発生したことにより、定期的なサンプリングでは放射性物質が環境へ漏洩するおそれがあることが明らかとなった。そこで、各建家から発生する地下浸透水を連続モニタリングし、地下浸透水の管理を強化し、万一地下浸透水ピットへ放射性物質が漏洩していたとしても環境へ放出されないようにした。このためのモニタリングポットは廃棄物処理場の非放射性配管分岐室へ設置し、異常があった場合には廃液処理工程へ切り換えが可能となるようにし、モニタリング後の浸透水はC施設放出廃液貯槽へ送液、海中放出管から放出されるようにした。
