- 出版タイプ： NATicその場コーティング用チタン蒸発源を開発するため各種チタン蒸発線を試作して、それらの性能試験を行った。最良の特性を示した蒸発線、構成においてタングステン芯線のまわりにチタン線とともに巻いたモリブデン線は、芯線に沿ってチタン線を一様に溶かす作用をし、また外周に巻くタングステン製ガード線はチタンが球状になったり溶融垂れするのを防ぐ役目をする。試作した蒸発線の典型的な形状は外形4mm$\phi$、有効長さ140mmである。このチタン蒸発線からのチタン蒸発効率および蒸発速度は、チンタン装荷量2~2.5gに対して、それぞれ70~80\%および0.14gmin$^{-}$$^{1}$であった。この実験結果をもとにJT-60への適用性を検討した。
