- 出版タイプ： NA東海村沖で海洋観測を行なったり染料拡散実験を長年にわたって行なったデータをもとに沿岸における海洋拡散についてまとめたものである。沿岸海域の拡散は、海況の構造が複雑であったり、それが時間的空間的に変化するので一様な乱流の場を仮定する簡単な拡散モデルを適用するのが困難である。このような複雑な海洋の場における拡散を推定するいくつかの方式を開発した。水平拡散においては、染料拡散実験の染料雲の面積の時間変化から拡散パラメータの推定を行なう法、鉛直シアのある場合の見かけの拡散の推定法、長期間放出の平均的濃度分布を推定する法、鉛直拡散では、河川水をトレーサに鉛直拡散パラメータを推定する法、海水混濁物をトレーサに光束減衰率から鉛直拡散係数と底質の粒度分布を同時に推定する法などを開発し、それらについて述べた。
