• Note (General): 高速実験炉「常陽」は1977年4月の臨界以来わが国初の高速炉として運転を続けているが,「常陽」の炉心構成要素の健全性を確認し,また高速炉用炉心材料の基礎的な照射データを得るための試験計画の一環として,「常陽」炉心で使用されたラッパー管の照射後試験を行った。今回は,集合体PPJX15に組み込まれたラッパー管(出力上昇サイクル中使用,照射温度370$^{\circ}C$$\sim$460$^{\circ}C$,照射量最大6.1$\times$10$\times$21n/cm$\times$2,E$>$0.1MeV)について試験した。照射後試験は外観検査,高温引張試験,密度測定かたさ試験,金相試験の各項目について行い,その結果は前回試験したPPJDIAラッパー管(照射温度370$^{\circ}C$$\sim$450$^{\circ}C$,照射量最大30$\times$10$\times$21n/cm$\times$2,E$>$0.1MeV)の結果もあわせて検討した。その主な結果は次の通りである。(1)ラッパー管の表面をペリスコープで観察した結果,有害な欠陥等の異常は認められなかった。(2)試験温度400$^{\circ}C$及び450$^{\circ}C$で引張試験を行った結果引張強さは400$^{\circ}C$で66$\sim$69kg/mm$\times$2450$^{\circ}C$で約65kg/mm$\times$2,また0.2\%耐力は400$^{\circ}C$で46$\sim$52kg/mm$\times$2,450$^{\circ}C$で46$\sim$49kg/mm$\times$2であり,PPJDIAの結果もあわせて引張強さ0.2\%耐力とも中性子照射量が増大すると高くなる傾向が見られた。(3)伸びは一様伸び,破断伸びとも照射により約5\%の減少が見られた。(4)密度は7.996g/cm$\times$3で非照射材の値(平均7.974g/cm$\times$3)にくらべて僅かに大きいが,PPJDIAでは殆ど変化がなく,照射による有意な変化であるかどうかは明らかでない。(4)かたさは中性子照射量の大きい部分が高い値を示しており,照射による硬化が見られた。(4)金相試験の結果,ラッパー管はPPJDIAの場合と同様正常なオーステナイト組織を示し,脱炭,浸炭等の変化は見られなかった。; To make sure that the core materials of the fast experimental reactor "Joyo" are in safety conditions, and to get basic knowledge about the behavior of FBR core materials after irradiation, we carried out post-irradiation examination on a wrapper tube (SUS316, 10\% C.W.). The wrapper tube was fabricated into the subassembly PPJX15 and used during the power-up stage of "Joyo" MK-I core (Irradiation temperature 370$^{\circ}$C $\sim$ 460$^{\circ}$C, maximum neutron fluence 6.1$\times$10$^{21}$ n/cm$^{2}$, E $>$ 0.1 Mev). Visual inspection, tensile tests metallurgical test, hardness test and density measurement were performed, and compared with the data of PPJDIA, examined before (Irradiation temperature 370$^{\circ}$C $\sim$ 450$^{\circ}$C, maximum neutron fluence 3.0$\times$10$^{21}$ n/cm$^{2}$, E $>$ 0.1 MeV). The results obtained are summarized as follows. (1) No harmful change on the wrapper tube surface was observed by periscope. (2) As the results of tensile tests at 400$^{\circ}$C and 450$^{\circ}$C, ultimate tensile strength was 66 $\sim$ 69 Kg/mm$^{2}$ at 400$^{\circ}$C and about 65 Kg/mm$^{2}$ at 450$^{\circ}$C. Yield strength (0.2\% offset) was 46 $\sim$ 52 Kg/mm$^{2}$ at 400$^{\circ}$C and 46 $\sim$ 49 Kg/mm$^{2}$ at 450$^{\circ}$C. The results of PPJDIA and PPJX15 show that both ultimate and yield strength are increasing according to the neutron fluence. The elongation decreased about 5\% by irradiation. (3) Density was 7.996 g/cm$^{3}$ and slightly larger than the value of unirradiated tubes (7.974g/cm$^{3}$ are.), but the density of PPJDIA tube was not changed from unirradiated tubes, so it is not clear that this change is caused by irradiation. or not (4) Irradiation-hardening was observed by hardness test. (5) Irradiated wrapper tube had normal austenitic structure and no change as carburization or decarburization was observed.
