• Note (General): 高速原型炉「もんじゅ」用原子炉容器及び炉内構造物の設計にあたって,構造材料の機械的性質に及ぼす中性子照射の影響を考慮する必要がある。本報は原型炉準備室の依頼に基づき,SUS304母材及び溶接部(溶接金属,溶接継手)並びにインコネル718の中性子照射による機械的性質の変化に関する調査結果をまとめたものである。▲調査項目は引張試験,クリープ試験,疲れ試験及びクリープ-疲れ試験とした。原子炉容器及び炉内構造物は使用中照射効果のほか,長時間高温にさらされることによる熱履歴効果も受けるので,これについても調査した。SUS304についての主な結果は次の通りである。▲1)照射材,熱履歴材ともに全般にデータがきわめて不足しており,現状では照射効果,熱履歴効果を正確に把握することは不可能である。▲2)溶接部の引張特性に及ぼす照射効果は母材の場合に比べて小さいようである。▲3)母材のクリープ破断強度は照射により低下するが,溶接部では照射の影響をあまり受けない。▲4)溶接部の疲れ特性に及ぼす照射効果はそれほど顕著でないようである。▲5)母材及び溶接部のクリープ-疲れ寿命は照射により低下する。▲6)熱履歴効果により引張試験における伸びは低下する。その傾向は母材より溶接部で顕著である。▲7)母材,溶接部とも熱履歴によりクリープ破断寿命が低下する場合が多い。▲8)母材の疲れ寿命は熱履歴により増加する。▲; To design the reactor vessel and the internal structures for prototype fast reactor "MONJU", it is necessary to regard the radiation effects on mechanical properties of structural materials. So, radiation effects on mechanical properties of Type 304 stainless steel base metal and weld materials (weld metal or welded joints) and those of Inconel 718 were compiled. Tensile, creep, fatigue and creep-fatigue properties were surveyed. Except radiation effects, aging effects were also included in this survey, because structural materials are exposed to high temperature during operation. The results on Type 304 stainless steel are summarized as follows. (1)Generally, as data on irradiated or aged materials are extremely limited, it is impossible to recognize radiation or aging effects correctly. (2)Radiation effects on tensile properties of weld materials seem to be smaller than those of base metal. (3)Creep rupture strengths of basemetal decrease after irradiation, but those of weld materials are not remarkably affected. (4)Radiation effects on fatigue properties of weld materials seem not to be so significant. (5)Creep-fatigue lives of base metal and weld materials decrease after irradiation. (6)Tensile elongation decreases after aging. This tendency is enhanced in weld materials. (7)Creep rupture lives of base metal and weld materials sometimes decrease after aging. (8)Fatigue life of base metal increases after aging.
