- 出版タイプ： NA冷却材喪失事故時の加圧水型炉炉心における熱水力学的挙動を解析するプログラムASCOT-1を開発した。炉心を軸対称と仮定し、保存則を特性曲面法によって求める。炉心を分割した同心円環状部分領域の代表燃料棒の温度応答にたいしては、平均化された流動条件を用いて熱伝導方程式を陽的解法によって求める。上部プレナムおよび下部プレナムにおける境界条件は入力として与えられる。整合寸法を用いるため格子点数の制限はない。ASCOT-1はFACOM230-75用のFORTRAN一IVで書かれている。
